Cliff setting up camp
Shaun cooked us a lot of good food!
Our little campsite:)
Amazing potatoes with bacon and cheese!
We had to keep those crazy mosquitos away.
This is our fearless Bible study leader at the grill-ha I caught him acting like he was mad (he really was joking around don't be fooled).
Shaun made us apple cobbler that was delicious
This is what I woke up to...it was a lot noisier than I thought it would be but that is just part of camping I suppose! |
This was hilarious. We tried to heat a can of beans with just a few air holes in the fire and they started oozing out. We died laughing and did not have very many beans to eat in the end.
We found a massive caterpillar on our 6.8 mile hike.
Me and the girls...Deb and Amber.
Hot dogs with cheese:)
There is my little recap of our camping trip. We had a lot of fun and I thought it was pretty amazing how much Shaun cooked over coals. Impressive. We got back late Saturday and then today after church we got ready for our friends to come over.
I made little treat cups for everyone-lots of yummy chocolates and jelly beans!
We had an awesome spread of ham, mashed potatoes, pasta salad, green beans, a veggie tray, salad, corn and rolls. Danielle also made a yummy chocolate cake and we had fresh strawberries and ice cream with it! After I got the kitchen clean, I went for a leisurely walk and then Cliff and me watched Tower Heist which was funny and we ate leftovers and Easter Candy. I hope you all had a good, relaxing weekend.
And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for
themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again. So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation:
that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting
people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of
reconciliation. We are
therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal
through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
